Dawn Devi IxChel!
Hoop Dancer, Mama, Nurse, Hoop & Yoga Instructor, performer, aspiring aerial dancer, professional student, future baby catcher, life enthusiast! Dawn "Devi IxChel" is half of the pair of masterminds behind Charm City Hoops! After leaping into the wonderful world of hooping in 2009, Devi IxChel searched high and low for hoopers, classes, events, and ANYTHING hoop related in Baltimore, but to almost no avail. What was an aspiring hooper to do? Well it just so happened that the wondrous forces of the Universe brought a fellow Baltimore hooper into the path of the Devi IxChel. Together they decided it was time make a change. Inspired by the oodles of fantabulous hooping communities all over the globe, they birthed Charm City Hoops, with the hopes of building a strong, ever flourishing hooping community right here in good ol' Bawlmer,Merlin (for those who don't know, that's how the natives say Baltimore, Maryland)!
Carolyn Love!
Carolyn is a self-taught hooper since late 2008, painter, dancer, and crafter of creations.
First drawn to hoops on the festival playground, it seemed only natural for Carolyn to stumble upon a hooping fairy outside Sherwood Forest. Since that fateful voyage to the moon, Ms. Dawn and Carolyn have shared in their love for hooping, music, art, and all things good. Now, with Charm City Hoops, Baltimore can share in the hoop love too.

Lady Bohemian!
Lady Bohemian, (also known as Farida) is a Belly dancer, Hooper, Singer, Writer, and certified Pilates instructor. At age 4 she saw her first belly dancer at a wedding and fell in love with the art form. She has studied with many incredible teachers and is passionate about learning and evolving as a human and as an artist. Her fascination with different cultures and styles has lead to her energetic fusion style performances.
Farida met Carolyn when they worked together in the DC area. Fate brought them back together to charm Baltimore City with Ms. Dawn and spread love and laughter!

Daddy to Princess Avery, plant & tree lover, body painter, artist, beastly photographer, fairy handler, pink suspender wearing fool, and the muscles behind Charm City Hoops! Daddy Mac is pretty much "THE MAN". Anything Charm City Hoops needs, he does. He's the hardest working fella we know and is a jack of all trades. That's why we love him!
